IT WAS A DARK, DARK NIGHT

At 4:00 in the morning when I was having my nightly bout of insomnia, I felt something fly into my hair. I let out a little shriek and sat up straight in bed, about giving my husband a heart attack.
I kept hitting at my head and brushing it, but couldn't feel anything there. I turned on the light and asked my husband if he could see anything, but nothing was there.
An inspection of the bed found a moth. I got a paper towel and grabbed it up. I squished it and heard a crunch. EWWW!
I told my husband the other day that I miss that little adrenaline rush I used to get when I worked in the schools or when I created something I was excited about, but trust me, this was not a good substitute.

A few years ago we had a moth invasion in our town. It was gross! Babs went to the store one night and bought 5 fly swatters. We would all go around killing moths before we went to bed, usually killing between 30-40 moths.

I like moths. I hate spiders. Moths are pretty harmless. :)
