ROCK....PAPER....SCISSORS......

A month or so ago my husband had to list someone on some papers at work to manage his estate if we both die at the same time, such as a car wreck. He listed our daughter "L".
She then blogged that since she had to administer the estate, she would selflessly pass the five grandchildren to the other kids, one each. (Since their parents' can't have them and I have 7 kids.)
The kids have joked ever since about which kid they might be getting. Seems like everyone wants the 11 year old. She's the easiest to have (at least until she hits puberty :0) ) and she will reach 18 the quickest.
This weekend two of my daughters came to visit. Every time one of the boys did something bratty, I saw them doing rock, paper, scissors. I asked them why, and they laughed and said they were trying to see who gets the 11 year old.
I informed them that Native Minnow spoke for the 11 year old first. He was the first one to realize that the oldest child would "age out" of foster care the quickest. So Minnow, you may want to practice your rock, paper, scissors skills. A lot could depend upon it.

But just remember one thing.....

A large iguana and a dead frog come with the 11 year old. :P

I'm not too worried about it. I can take anybody at Rock/Paper/Scissors at any time.
